-        Development and construction of optics testing instruments : Mechanics, electronics, optics and computing aspects

-        FBG fabrication : optical fiber handling, exposing bench conception, laser handling (Excimer, CW), H2-loading, Acid stripping

-        Computer co-administrator with another Ph.D. student at the IOA (60 people, 100 pc's, 2 servers, many external and internal devices) : budget planning, ordering, installation, network management and consulting for my colleagues

-        Organizer of the 2001 and 2002 editions of the music summer camp for the City Wind Orchestra of Sion, where 50 to 60 people, mostly children were to be cared for one week (co-organizer for the 2003 edition)
