The reconstructions of the FBG1 for
different layer thickness (5, 20, 50 and 100 mm) are presented in Fig. 3-26.
The number of spectral points M is set to ten times the number of layers (it
will be seen in the next sub-section that a higher number of spectral points is
not necessary). Apart from the reduced resolution observed at discontinuities,
the reconstructions are not much affected from the layer thickness.
